The two-tone reveal got me hooked — scratching away the black coating to find a completely different color underneath is weirdly addictive. I bought these for my 7-year-old but ended up finishing two cards myself. The wooden stylus that comes with it works way better than a coin.
My niece sat quietly for almost an hour scratching away at the black coating, and the dual-color reveal underneath kept her genuinely surprised each time. The wooden stylus is sturdy enough that it doesn't snap, which matters with kids. Honestly the best money I've spent on a craft kit lately.
I bought these for a rainy afternoon and was surprised how vivid the colors are underneath. The scratch stick worked smoothly, and my kids stayed engaged for a solid hour.
