I've been using these on black cardstock and the metallic colors just pop off the page. Adding a wet brush turns them into this shimmery watercolor wash that I wasn't expecting to work so well. Layering two shades gives a really nice gradient too.
I wasn't expecting these to blend this easily, but a quick swipe of a wet brush turned my layered strokes into a smooth watercolor wash. They glide on almost like lip balm, and the metallic sheen still shows through even after I add water.
I've never had gel sticks glide this smoothly across dark paper — the metallic shimmer really pops against black. Adding a bit of water turns them into a soft watercolor wash, which I didn't expect from something this creamy. Layering two colors blends way easier than I thought it would.
